Personality sneak peaks and Storytime...

Wiggle who is usually a day care providers dream baby was fussy today and insisted on being held all day.  Needless to say by the time Natalie got home I was anxious to enlist her help.  Here she is after putting him to sleep attempting to lay him down.  Fat chance Natalie just like for me all day the second she laid him down his eyes shot wide open.  Back to the rocking chair for you Natalie.  LOL

I snapped this yesterday when Blue Eyes had a temper tantrum and threw her Cheerios at me when I didn't share my bowl with her.  She prefers to eat my breakfast instead of hers.  And the academy award goes to my Blue Eyed Girl.

Wiggle at story time he doesn't know it yet but he is a little girl magnet.  Just wait Wiggle just wait..

Somebody was dancing and got shy when I pulled the camera out.

Ms. Mimi  and Wiggle with  Lil Sis

A little shy but dying to join in.  Go on Blue Eyes don't be shy...

On a Monday...

Somebody must of had a big weekend.  Love the outstretched arms, he is very comfy.

Blue Eyes has recently discovered a love of books.  I have been reading to her a lot lately.
I tried to video tape this first because she was reading in her baby babble and it was precious  but of course when she saw the camera she clammed up.  Darn it.  I also love how she prefers to sit on the coffee table instead of the couch.

Park Time with Blue Eyes...

Yesterday Wiggle got picked up early and Smiley was home with Mommy. (He's part time) so that left Blue Eyes and I an opportunity to sneak off to the park on a beautiful cool afternoon. What fun we had...
It's no secret this girl is a climber.

She loved whipping the balls back and forth on the abacus.

At first she had no interest in the swings until she saw an older girl swing on one.  That's who she is looking at.  of course once the little girl got down from the swing someone wanted to try THAT swing because baby swings are for baby's not big girls like Blue Eyes.

I love how every time she went down the slide she looked back at me as if to say "did you see me Suzie?"

Loving the tongue sticking out cuz you know climbing takes a lot of concentration. LOL

Had to stick this one of Smiley in from my phone.  I love how he is holding the string dragging the caterpillar around   like he was taking him for a walk.  Too cute!!

How lucky am I...

I'm sitting on the couch in the living room. Watching over my little's as they play and got to thinking how lucky I am.  This is especially poignant in my mind right now because a close friend had to make the tough decision recently to go back to work.  As tough as this was for her I know it was made easier with the knowledge that it is her husband who will now be home to care for their children.  This is not an option for a lot a people and in those cases there are people like me.  People like me who are lucky enough to have been chosen to watch over other Mommy and Daddy's little's.

Today in just this past 30 minutes I have:

Watched Baby Girl (Who I have decided I will call Blue Eyes now because lets face it she just isn't a baby any more.) learn that the cat who she absolutely adores will let her pet him if she doesn't chase him and strokes him very gently.  Upon discovering this I was treated to her delighted squeals as she looked at me with the expression clearly saying "Suz are you witnessing this he's letting me pet him, whoopee."

Watched Smiley maneuver himself all over the room with the "almost" crawl I refer to as the "scoot crawl".  He then almost pulled himself up on the bouncy seat to get a closer look at the toys attached to the cross bar. I know in a matter of weeks there will be no stopping him.

Enjoyed feeding Wiggle and watch him slowly slide into the "milk coma" as his whole body relaxed and seemed to melt into mine.  No matter how many years I've been doing this that NEVER GETS OLD.

Oh yes, I am one lucky girl.

We're Back!!

Sorry I haven't posted in forever. I had really planned on updating this quite regular. You know how that goes. I do like having an outlet for my I-phone photos for Mommy's and Daddy's and family members to be able to copy any pictures they might like. So, here is a posts of pictures from the last three months...
